The Department of Home Affairs removed the 405 Investor Retirement visa from the list of available visas on 1 June 2018. New applicants are no longer able to apply for this visa.

Applications made on or after 1 June 2018 for Investor Retirement visas will only be accepted from existing Class UY, subclass 405 visa holders. Existing 405 visa holders will be able to renew their visas, but the class is closed to new applicants from 1 June 2018.
