Working Holiday Visas

Working Holiday Visas are designed to allow young persons for certain overseas countries to come to Australia and gain life-experiences. The idea is to allow these youngsters (usually below 31 years) to come for a one-year working holiday in Australia. They are expected to travel around Australia, stay in places and find temporary work (up to six months with each employer) and fund their Australian travel.

There are two main streams:

Working Holiday Visa (subclass 417)

Work and Holiday Visas (subclass 462)
